Product Description:

Potable Water, Rainwater, Grey, Toilet and Elsan® Waste and Slurry.

These rotationally moulded underground tanks are designed for use in industrial, agricultural, commercial and domestic applications.

Typical uses include grey water (sink, showers, baths); black water (toilets), Elsan® toilet and cesspool waste; rainwater harvesting; surface water collection and potable water storage (where mains water is not available).

Manufactured from UV-stabilised, medium density polyethylene (MDPE) and with a potable approved polymer (for WRAS applications) these tanks are designed with a ribbed construction for added strength and allow contents to be captured for many purposes.

Technical Advantages

PS-VTP range of potable water tanks are WRAS & DWI (Reg 31) approved
WRAS = Water Regulations Advisory Scheme
DWI = Drinking Water Inspectorate

Potable water tanks are supplied with a plastic, non-vented lid for compliance with WRAS and DWI.

VTP tanks are supplied with plastic lids, which are rated for pedestrian "traffic" only.

Where potable water is required for heavy "traffic" areas, the VTP tank is installed with its standard plastic lid underneath a rated manhole cover.

PS-VTR range is suitable for rainwater, slurry, cesspool, mains flushing toilet, grey water and Elsan waste

Galvanised steel lid with a 10-tonne rating is standard for all VTR tanks (apart from 280 & 550 litre tanks)

A 10-tonne galvanised lid with a double seal is available as an option.

Notes

Installation: to be installed on a firm, flat, fully supporting, concrete base of:
- 4" depth for tanks up to 2500 litres, 6-8" depth for tanks from 2500 - 10,000 litres.

Inspection & testing: all tanks are thickness tested by ultrasound after de-moulding. Flanges are air-tested for leaks.

Lifting: larger tanks (e.g. from 5000 litres upwards) have inbuilt lifting lugs. Note: these are only rated to lift the tank when empty.
